Bellefield Solar and Energy Storage Farm is a battery storage plant in Kern County, California, operated by 50LW 8me LLC. Among the 605 battery storage plants in the country it is the largest. It is the biggest of California’s 133 battery storage plants. Of its current capacity, 1,000 MW came online between 2023 and 2025. Its biggest unit, rated at 500 MW, is the third-largest single generator in California.
