Edge Moor is a natural gas plant in New Castle County, Delaware, operated by Calpine Mid-Atlantic Generation LLC. It ranks second by nameplate capacity among Delaware’s 38 power plants. Its biggest unit, rated at 446 MW, is the largest single generator in Delaware. Its oldest working unit dates from 1954, earlier than at any other natural gas plant in Delaware. Three units here can switch between natural gas and oil.
