Catawba
Catawba is a nuclear plant in York County, South Carolina, operated by Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC. By nameplate capacity it is the 42nd-largest power plant in the United States and the third-largest in South Carolina. Its biggest unit, rated at 1,205 MW, is the largest single generator in South Carolina. Ownership is shared by four organizations; the largest stake, 38%, is held by North Carolina Mun Power Agny #1.
